Rules & Regulations
There are 7,200 tickets printed. Tickets
are $100 each and are sold on a “first come, first serve “ basis. | |
Tickets are not tax deductible. | |
The odds of winning depend on the number
of tickets sold. | |
The total value of the prize board is
$349,909.58 including all taxes and freight. | |
Winning tickets will be hand drawn under
the supervision of the professional services firm of BDO Dunwoody LLP. | |
All valid tickets are eligible for all
draws in accordance with these rules and regulations. | |
The Final Draw will take place on
Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Hiawatha Race Track, 1730 London Road,
Sarnia, Ontario N7T 7H2. | |
To be eligible for the draws, tickets must
be purchased by February 14 2004. | |
Earlybird prizes of 200 Dream Home tickets
will be drawn on January 14, 2004 (at 5:00 pm) in the Foundation Office. | |
The final draw order (on February 14,
2004) will be from the prize of least retail value up to the prize of highest
retail value, as indicated in the prizeboard on the front of the ticket. $100,
$200, $200 patio set, getaway package, $500, garden package, 6 mo. Family YMCA
membership, $1000, $1000 IGA gift certificate, $1000 marine packages, $1000
beach packages, $1109 camping gear package, $2500 1 yr. Family membership (4)
at Huron Oaks, $5000 and grand prize. | |
After each winning ticket is drawn and
recorded, it is returned to the drum and is eligible for all other subsequent
draws. | |
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and
must be claimed within one year after the draw date. No substitutions are
permitted by winners. | |
Ticket purchasers must be a minimum of 18
years of age. | |
Tickets will be sold only in the Province
of Ontario. | |
The following will be prohibited from
purchasing tickets: Members of the LHF Board and employees of the Lambton
Hospitals Foundation, Lottery Key Committee Members and their immediate
families residing in the same household. | |
All winners will be notified by mail with
instructions on how to redeem their prize(s). Winners of major prizes may
also be contacted by telephone. | |
Winners agree to the use of their name and
photo for publicity purposes by the Lambton Hospitals Foundation. | |
The liability of the licensee of this
lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s). | |
A list of winners is available upon
request by calling the licensee at (519) 464-4428. | |
Winners agree to the publication of their
winning ticket number(s), their names and city of residence. | |
A list of winners will be published in the
February 18, 2004 edition of The Observer. | |
Payment must be received in full for
ticket purchases to be valid. In the event of a cheque or charge returned by
the bank, the ticket price must be paid in full before the ticket will be
validated. | |
This lottery is operated under the Alcohol
& Gaming Commission of the Province of Ontario, Licence #P030912. | |
All inquiries, if any, on the odds of winning are to be made to the licensee prior to the purchase of ticket(s). |
