Programs and Services at Bluewater Health
The Bluewater Health organization is located within the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network and encompasses Bluewater Health located in Sarnia, Ontario, and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital of Bluewater Health located in Petrolia, Ontario. Our staff, physicians and volunteers number nearly 2,500, making us Sarnia-Lambton's largest public employer.

Bluewater Health takes great pride in our legacy of patient care, quality and service, and it is upon these strong foundations that we deliver on our mission, vision and values.

Quality of Care
With a progressive focus on patient and family-centered care, our fully accredited programs and services include various clinical services, such as:emergency services,  medical and surgical services, stroke and critical care,  complex continuing care, diagnostic services in imaging and laboratory, rehabilitative therapies, labour and delivery, maternity and paediatric care, mental health, crisis and addictions services, diabetes care, dialysis care and cancer care.

Bluewater Health is also home to the Cancer Care Treatment and Assessment Centre, the Sarnia-Lambton District Stroke Centre and Secondary Stroke Prevention Clinic, and satellite programs of the Ontario Breast Screening Program and the London Health Sciences Centre Renal Dialysis Program.

Our clinical teams are backed by a variety of support service, administrative and volunteer programs, from the bedside to the boardroom.

Serving Our Community
Situated at the southern tip of Lake Huron in Lambton County, we are located in the picturesque communities of Sarnia and Petrolia. Rich in history and characterized by a scenic waterfront setting, Lambton County is home to more than 125,000 residents.

Bluewater Health's building project, the largest public sector redevelopment project in Sarnia-Lambton's history, is a tangible sign of the diverse and exciting future of healthcare in Lambton County. State of the art facilities, with environmentally-friendly, patient focused features, were completed in 2011. Development has enabled us to concentrate on improving patient access, care and satisfaction.

Bluewater Health is a proud community partner and strong supporter of its communities' interests. The hospital team is actively involved in supporting initiatives to build a strong, healthy future for the citizens of Lambton County.

Bluewater Health is a recognized, provincial leader in healthcare, focused on improving the patient experience.

Many of our wait times continue to be shorter than the provincial average. We regularly participate in best practice initiatives and process improvement projects to enhance our care, quality and service.We are the recipient of several awards recognizing achievements in environmental awareness and energy conservation, quality, communications and volunteerism.We are pilot sites for both industry and government initiatives.
